This access point can function as a wireless router that is fully configurable, with its ability to communicate and function with devices on any of the three protocol choices, and then there are no rejection or incompatibility issues with this device.
It comes with wireless and wired security built in, include WPA and encryption software built in. It allows full interoperability with third party software, and is supported by standards based wired and wireless
Motorola has created a Wireless Access point that will support further advances seamlessly, it is expandable and allows both software and firmware upgrades in the future. It is a Radius, 802.1x supplicant that will support connections from a RADIUS type application to its Ethernet protected port.
One of its features is that it supports POE devices, it can be coupled with a POE device to allow end of the line operations, where effective hardwired line power is not available. This is a balanced, simple solution to many office and home company networks seeking an accessible and easy to use solution to their network needs.
