How many times have you wished there was a way for you to link your music stereo system with your computer, or to have your stereo be able to connect wirelessly to your computer set up? Well now there is.
The D-Link Wireless Media player connects your entire home stereo and entertainment system to your existing network. You can then stream video, music, or photos to and from your Windows PC, to your stereo and television. All this is possible without having to run cables or wires around and through your home.
The Wireless media player uses existing 802.11g technology to connect media content at a maximum rate of up to fifty-four Mbps. You can stream using the Ethernet at up to one hundred Mbps. The D-Link DSM-320RD is a full function media center, and it is fully compatible with both wireless and wired routers and Internet access points.
If you have access to progressive scan technology, you can watch your favorite movies or DVD’s using the media player in theater surround sound. The DVD player will play all formats of CDs and DVD’s, as well as many types of Mp3 software.
Just when you think it has all that you could require, it also features a built in five in one card reader. Just simply insert your memory card or SIMM, and you are just a click away from wireless access to your Compact Flash and Smart Media files. D-Link offers support from several online music download providers to help you obtain commercial free radio and music programs, as well as PC music downloads. All this is connected to your computer using Windows Digital Rights management, and the wireless media player.
