Sometimes there comes along a product that is almost a no brainer. The Intel Pro Wireless Mini PCI Card is one of those type products.

If you own a laptop, and you currently use a USB dongle, or a Bluetooth type USB or PCMCIA card, then this could be the product that you need.  It literally doubles the signal strength in most laptops that it is used with, and makes low signals strength history.

The new LinkSys Wireless Media Storage Router is really innovative; it features literally four types of devices in one piece of electronics.

-It is a wireless Access point gateway, to connect to Wireless G (802.11g) and Wireless B (802.11b), as well as other backward compatible types of WiFi coverage.
-It is a hard wired up to four port full duplex 10/100 standard style router switch, which allows any devices you wish to hardwire into the router setup access to your broadband coverage.
-It is a router, tying it all together, you can have either DSL input or standard broadband cable modem access input coverage.
-And additionally it has “On Device” storage, which can be expanded using a USB flash drive, or USB type storage connection.

If you are looking for a DSL wireless gateway, the AT&T Gateway DSL modem is for you.  It features a two-wire DSL phone type input, so it is compatible with many of the DSL type modems on the market.  It specifically is designed to work with DSL type modems; the standard cable type broadband Internet connection will not function with this modem.

It is not a standard type but designed specifically for the DSL type service.  Many people have lamented not being able to have a wireless gateway for their computer system; this modem is a godsend for that reason.  It features standard 802.11g state of the art protocols, as well as backwards-compatible 802.11b access.
